1. Zero-Cloud & Local Storage Philosophy

VantaLock is engineered on a strict zero-cloud, local-first architecture. We do not operate remote databases, vault syncing servers, or cloud storage backends. All files, passwords, notes, and cryptographic master keys encrypted by VantaLock remain strictly stored on your local disk.

2. Data Collection & Telemetry

We do not track you. VantaLock collects:

• Zero personal information: No names, email addresses, usernames, or contact details are collected by the application.
• Zero telemetry or usage analytics: The desktop software does not contain tracking scripts, crash telemetry reporting, or behavioral analytics.
• Zero keystroke or vault data: Cryptographic operations occur in local memory. Master passwords and seed phrases are never transmitted over any network.

3. License Verification

VantaLock uses Lemon Squeezy solely as a merchant platform to process license purchases and verify product activation keys. During license activation, the desktop application communicates directly with Lemon Squeezy's secure API to validate license key authenticity. No vault content or local user data is included in this activation request.

4. Open Source Transparency

The VantaLock source code is publicly accessible on GitHub. Anyone can review the code to verify our zero-tracking policy and cryptographic implementation.
